Students have the opportunity to be involved in many
enriching activities at CCS. Some include: participation
in art exhibits and contests, Field Day (athletic
competitions), High School Student Council, Christmas
and Easter (spring) music programs, harvest festival in
October, Accelerated Reader, county-wide spelling bee,
Junior and Senior High Chorus, National Geographic
geography bee, book fairs, "Book-It" reading program, a
wide variety of educational field trips, weekly chapel,
and frequent visits by missionaries from third world
nations in conjunction with Covenant Presbyterian
Church. After school, students enjoy many varied
activities, some of which include:
